New Exploration of Cross-Industry Collaboration: Hardoll Lighting Unites with Smart Home Brand to Create Smart Living
Recently, Hardoll Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese provider of high-end intelligent lighting solutions, officially announced a deep strategic partnership with domestic leading smart home platform Aqara and Huawei's whole-house smart technology. This cross-industry collaboration marks a crucial step for Hardoll Lighting in its strategic transformation from a professional lighting manufacturer to a "smart ecological service provider for light environment".
According to the cooperation agreement, Hardoll Lighting will fully integrate into the HarmonyOS Connect and Matter standard ecosystems based on its independently developed H-Link intelligent lighting protocol. This will enable seamless coordination responses between the lamps and various intelligent control devices, voice assistants, environmental sensors, etc., within milliseconds. The first jointly launched 'HarmonyLight series' of smart ceiling lamps and track spotlights support features such as non-intrusive dimming, human-centric lighting, automatic security mode upon leaving home, and AI scene self-learning capabilities. Users can manage the light effects in multiple dimensions through the mobile phone App, voice commands, or gestures.
It is worth noting that in this collaboration, Hardoll Lighting has for the first time made its spectral database and DALI-2 certified driver module available to its partners, enabling them to customize the development of healthy lighting scenarios. The company's R&D director, Li Zhe, said: 'Light is not only a lighting tool, but also a core medium that affects emotions, rhythms, and spatial experiences. We are using the 'light + intelligence + scene' tripartite logic to restructure the interaction paradigm of home, office, and commercial spaces.' ’
Currently, the joint solution has been implemented in benchmark projects such as Shenzhen Bay One and Shanghai Qiantan Taikoo Li, and will be showcased simultaneously in 300+ Huawei Smart Home Authorized Experience Stores across the country starting from the third quarter of 2024. Hardoll Lighting has also launched the 'Smart Light Partner Program', providing SDK development kits and joint certification support to designers and integrators, accelerating the large-scale penetration of intelligent lighting in new construction projects, renovation projects, and BIM digital delivery.
As a national high-tech enterprise and the supporting unit of the Guangdong Province Intelligent Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center, Hardoll Lighting has obtained 127 patents. Its products have passed multiple international certifications such as CCC, CE, UL, and IEC 62471 for photobiological safety. This cross-border collaboration is not merely a simple technical connection; instead, it focuses on the real life activity paths of users, constructing a closed-loop intelligent lighting system of 'perception - decision - execution - feedback', truly enabling lights to think, understand companionship, and adapt to growth.
