Solar Street Light Project in Central Asia
Our flagship solar street light project in Central Asia represents a milestone in sustainable, high-power outdoor lighting engineering, tailored to meet the region’s unique climate, infrastructure, and long-term operational demands. Designed with a focus on extreme reliability, exceptional performance, and zero-grid dependency, this solution sets a new standard for large-scale road and bridge lighting in challenging environments.
At the heart of the project is a robust, high-efficiency power system engineered for uncompromising performance. Each unit is equipped with a 36V 300W monocrystalline solar panel, delivering industry-leading photoelectric conversion efficiency. This high-voltage, high-power configuration maximizes energy harvesting even under the intense, high-altitude sunlight conditions common in Central Asia, ensuring consistent charging output and minimizing power loss over long operational cycles. Complementing the panel is a 25.6V 260Ah lithium battery pack, engineered for deep-cycle stability and long service life. This large-capacity battery bank provides ample energy storage, enabling reliable all-night lighting even during extended cloudy or overcast periods, a critical feature for the region’s variable weather patterns.
The lighting performance of our system is purpose-built for large-scale infrastructure applications. Installed at a height of 40ft, each fixture delivers an impressive 22,000 lumens of bright, uniform light, resulting in a measured illuminance of 280 lux across the road surface. This high brightness level meets and exceeds international road safety standards, ensuring clear visibility for drivers and pedestrians alike, reducing the risk of accidents on busy highways and bridge corridors. The carefully calibrated optical design eliminates dark spots and glare, providing consistent light distribution across the entire roadway—an essential feature for high-traffic routes where uneven lighting can compromise safety.
Beyond performance, the system delivers significant long-term benefits for both project owners and the environment. By operating entirely off the grid, the solution eliminates costly electrical infrastructure investments, including power cables, transformers, and ongoing utility bills. This is particularly advantageous in Central Asia, where expanding traditional power grids to remote or newly developed infrastructure sites is often logistically complex and financially prohibitive. The system’s low-maintenance design—with no moving parts and durable, weather-resistant construction—reduces operational costs over the product’s lifespan, ensuring a low total cost of ownership for the project.
For the local community, the impact extends far beyond illumination. Reliable street lighting improves road safety, supports economic activity by extending usable hours for businesses and transportation, and enhances security in urban and semi-urban areas. As a fully renewable solution, the project also contributes to the region’s sustainability goals, reducing carbon emissions associated with fossil fuel-based power generation and aligning with global efforts to combat climate change.
This project demonstrates our ability to deliver customized, high-performance solar lighting solutions for large-scale infrastructure. By combining cutting-edge photovoltaic technology, robust energy storage, and precision optical design, we have created a system that meets the unique demands of Central Asia’s climate and infrastructure needs—delivering reliable, safe, and sustainable lighting for years to come.
